Although things have settled down in the past few weeks, and we are seemingly on the path to recovery, it is still as important as ever to remember that we are stronger together. In a previous blog, we highlighted a few of the companies that were quick to reallocate their time and resources to help those in their community. All of those brands have continued to do an amazing job at supporting health care workers, and those who have been impacted the most by COVID-19.
This week, we just wanted to shed even more light on a few of our clients that have continued to provide excellent support to their communities during this dire time.
As a company that works both with foodservice and CPGs, Torani is in a unique position where they can help both small businesses and consumers. Recently, their CEO, Melanie Dulbecco wrote a blog on their website that detailed all of the community efforts they have made in the past few months. A few of their community initiatives include:
- Donating product to local food banks
- Partnering with smaller businesses to donate coffee to first responders
- Offering grants to help cafés restock their inventories
- Expanding sick coverage for their team members
- And much more!
We are truly proud to call such a gracious and supportive company one of our clients!
Being a nationwide grocer, Aldi has been on the frontlines of this pandemic since the beginning. They were extremely quick to adapt to social-distancing regulations for both their employees and their customers. In the past few months, they have done what they can to accommodate as many customers as possible while prioritizing those in need.
Recently, Aldi’s CEO, Jason Hart, made a statement saying that Aldi is committed to keeping their prices low and accessible for all of their customers. He stated, “And while we continuously look for ways to save you money, we remain committed to the health and well-being of our employees and customers. You can rest assured knowing the incredible ALDI team is working tirelessly to make sure you have access to the essentials you need, plus the ALDI favorites you love.”
With consumers becoming more concerned about whether or not COVID-19 will impact the price of groceries, it’s incredible to see such a large company commit to doing all that they can to keep some consistency through this uncertain time.

We are not only proud of our clients for supporting those in need, but we appreciate all of the efforts we have seen throughout the food & beverage industry during this time.
In the next few weeks, we will be seeing quite a few changes to our day-to-day lives as we regain a sense of stability. However, it is still imperative that we rally to continue to support those who will continue to be impacted in the coming months.
